Jay Lake


Jay graduated from the University of Denver with degrees covering economics and political science. He has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry, including over 10 years as an Independent Registered Investment Advisor, 5 years with a leading Wall Street Brokerage Firm and 4 years in the legal review department with Oppenheimer Mutual funds Shareholder Services, Inc. Jay has been actively involved in both the American Society of Pension Actuaries and the National Institute of Pension Administrators. He has completed the Advanced Estate Planning course from the College for Financial Planning Masters Degree Program.


Josh Mastel


Josh graduated from Eastern Washington University with degrees covering Finance and Economics.  Prior to investment advising Josh spent 12 years between military combat search and rescue teams and survival, escape and evasion instruction. He began in the finance industry as a research analyst and trader.  He quickly moved to a position with Russell Investments in Seattle supporting trading operations and rebalancing for billion dollar pension plans.  His last 12 months with Russell his team logged over $3 billion in trading volume.  Josh is currently completing a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from Washington State University and has completed the first exam on his way to the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
